Detailed Description of Vacation spots that you’ll visit during 3 days Ghana Tour
More like 3 days of fun! Mole National Park is filled with many enticing animals in their habitats. You'll get to see these animals in their most natural forms, free and untamed. Your base for these 3 days has a nice view of the great elephants. As a bonus, there are also some places of interest around the park where you will visit. Mognori eco-village is a place near the park where you can get a tour of the Laribanga ancient mosque. You can also watch some traditional dances and even take part in them if you want to.
Day 1 - Morning Arrival, Pick up at Tamale Airport, Mole National Park
In the morning, your tour guide/driver will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the city of Tamale where your trip starts. Depending on your time of arrival you will eat breakfast at the wooden Restaurant.
Afterwards, drive to the largest wildlife refuge in Ghana Mole National Park. When you arrive at the Park after two and a half hours on the road, you'll be given some time to freshen up before the real fun begins. After dinner at 7pm, you will be driven to Mognori eco-village where you'll witness the unique dance steps and music of the people. We call it a day here and drive you back to Mole Motel where you can rest and prepare for the next day.
Day 2- Mole Safari, Mognori Eco-Village
The second day is fun-filled as this is when you begin by taking early walks and drives around the park to see animals like baboons, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs and the numerous species of birds. After this early drive comes breakfast.
A visit will once again be paid to Mognori eco-village later in the day where you will get a village guided walk in addition to a canoe safari. When you return to the motel by 1pm, you'll be treated to a nice lunch and a relaxing time at the pool. A Jeep drive safari comes next at about 3:15pm after which you get to watch the captivating sunset from the viewpoint of the Mole Motel. Dinner is once again served by 7pm.
Day 3 – Laribanga Mosque, Tamale, Departure
Breakfast comes quite late this morning as you will be given some time to pack you bags in preparation for departure. On your way to Tamale, you will make a stop to see the oldest mosque in all of West Africa, Laribanga mosque. It was built in the year 1421 and still stands till today. On arrival at Tamale, you will be treated to a delicious lunch at Luxury restaurant after which you'll be taken back to the airport for your departure.
